Smile Installed LED Daytime Running lights

Just installed it yesterday. Powered by ignition power so whenever my car is on, the lights are on. Took about 2hrs with lack of skills.

Got it from here:

http://www.hidonlinestore.com/produc...h_power705.htm

What do you guys think? Looks cheesy or functional?

I have seen a couple Z's here in my area with the LED marker light modification! I have to say:

1) I was shocked to see this in Upstate NY! lol

2) It looked awesome.........

If I was going to keep my front side markers I would get the clears and do the LED mod. Mine will go bye-bye hopefully this month! Removed & filled over.

And before anyone asks, those aren't LEDs. They're CCFLs.

Here's how they look at night time.

I saw the GReddy DRL and was thinking about getting them but I didn't want to look like an Audi wannabe. I just wanted something looking practical and simple.

Not too bad - reflector DRL would look a little more clean IMO.

I put my day lights led's to make sure people knows I'm next to them, specially with so many SUV's on the streets. I have seen the deference when driving close to tall vehicles.

Yeah I picked up the MCR canards last year from Z1 but still haven't got around to having them installed. I hope to get an estimate this coming week. Lately its hard to justify blowing cash on exterior modifications when I plan to boost the car soon.

I am working on figuring out what supporting mods I need to purchase for going FI
