Made them myself. EmpireDude can sell you a set, and he uses the same parts I did.

dcains, very nicely done and thanks for posting that link.

OP, I'm not a fan of those in the middle like that. Very PepBoys and detracts from the stance of the car. Just my .02. Keep innovating, though! At least you had the ***** to try it out and post up

No pics, but there's really not much to it. After you get the housings open (either by cutting along the seams, or baking) just glue the LED strips inside, facing forward. I used clear silicone, as superglue fumes can sometimes cloud clear plastic. Drill a small hole, or make a small slot, in the housing to allow the wires to pass through, and then glue everything back together, again with clear silicone. I also instaled some quick connectors on the wires, in case I want to remove the bumper.

Someone asked if you changed the parking light bulbs and it wasn't answered... I'm curious as well. Seems like an easy mod.

I used something like this, although I don't now see "natural white" as a color choice:

Super bright LED's gets lots of my money.. thanks

One last... I haven't seen much talk about the rear of the car. Do you leave the parking lights run back there as well when you're in DRL mode? I'm not sure I've seen a car with "rear" DRL, but I never really looked.

thanks again.

I think they were much cheaper several years ago, maybe $4 each. I bought LED's for all the other bulbs on eBay, have never had an issue with them, and they're much less expensive. The only junk LED's I've had problems with were the LED strips (for my first attempt at the DRL's) from oznium.com.

Strictly speaking, I didn't wire the LED's as DRL's. They're just wired in parallel with the front parking lights. I drive with all my lights (headlights, too) on all the time. Lots of bad drivers here in FL, and as a trauma nurse I've seen the results of inattentive drivers.

BTW, here's a closeup of the parking light bulbs:

I like the idea of DRL's but I'm not a fan of those ones that you've fitted. The best DRL's i've yet to see on a 350Z are the ones that are fitted to the reflectors (as dcains has done to his) as they look the most natural. Props to you for having a go and succeeding in fitting them though.

Did you have to remove the bumper for the reflector lights?

Well, you've got to take something off to gain access; either the undertray, fender liners, or bumper. Of those choices, the bumper is the easiest to remove, and it makes the reflectors and wiring easier, too. The bumper comes off in 5 minutes. Plenty of vids out there showing how.
