In theory, with minimal whippings please, how sacrilegious is it to powder coat the stock nismo rays? I only found 1 pic by searching and it was kinda poor, is this something that just isnt really done or what do you guys think? I like the rims and am not sure i want to do this, just tossing the idea around and wanted to see if any pics or ideas were floating around....

 

Do what you want. Who cares what some losers on the internet think.

Powdercoating is ok. Painting is usually frowned upon.

What pics did you come up with? I know there are a couple Nismo's here who have powdercoated their wheels black.

I've been thinking of powder coating my wheels for some time now, but I'm just not sure how they would look on the car (Photoshop anyone). I have a 08 Silver Nismo and wanted to powder coat the wheels blue (like the blue on the Volk Racing sticker - not the mag blue). Personally, I don't like the style of the Nismo wheels all that much , but I also don't want to ruin the wheels if I should ever have to sell my car... which hopefully is never!

 

personal preference guys.... I personally would never powdercoat mine, but thats not to say that if someone else does its stupid, imo go for it, but black wouldnt do these wheels justice... just my 2 cents
