Ok so this is my 3rd Z to own. My first was a 03 performance brickyard. I traded it for a Brand new 08 Nismo magnetic Black. I just recently picked up a 03 Base model thats black in color with veilside v3 front and side skirts, i think the rear is v2. With that being said I dont like fiberglass FPR body kits. Im thinking about ordering oem nismo oem body kit from nissan since i can get the hook up in price since i used to work for them. But here is the problem if I do this i want to change the color on the base from black to brickyard, with black being the color for the lip instead of gunmetal so it doesnt clash. The reason i want oem parts is so i dont have to deal with stress cracks and fiberglass breaking. Plus I have always loved the brickyard color.

 

congrats on your 3rd Z. i would love to see a nismo in brickyard color as well. go for it.

 

Does anyone happen to know if a 03 base model came with remote keyless entry from factory? All I have is this BS aftermarket alarm that I don't like. Thanks for the help

Thanks a whole lot KornerCarver. I thought they would have, because of the everything is power inside like the locks and the trunk. But just wanted to make sure so now its time to go and buy remotes.

 

cool project..iam converting an 05 35th aniv model to oem nismo kit.

the fitmet should be great but remeber to get the 07+ fender liners for fronts or there would be a gap.

That's good advice I didn't realize that I needed the fenders liners for a 07+. But that's another reason I want to get oem because of the better fitment than fiberglass. Keep me updated on ur conversion Mike.

also u will need the lower diffuser, so when u buy the bumper make sure u get the whole kit

After reading your thread thats good that you decided on oem parts and not aftermarket. But yeah I knew about the diffuser and the only other things I will have to get is 07+ reflectors and the rear mesh for the bumper.

 

Well i grabbed my camera today and went to take pictures of both the z together and came back to the house and popped open the memory card slot. And to my surprise no memory card, it was in my laptop the whole time. So now im gunna have to get them tomorrow and post them. Sorry about that guys. I cant copy the pics from the camera internal memory to the memory card and i dont know where the cable is to the camera.

what kind of hood do you have on the nismo?

 

Its the Seibon VT style carbon fiber hood. Made for the 07+ Z's.

 

Wish i had 2 Z's, oh wait i do, wish i had 2 modded Z's.
