At least you selling the Z caused you to comment back on this thread. If you hadn't I would have missed out on a very sexy nismo. Sad you sold it, hopefully you carry on to the 370Z nismo !

New owner is a close friend of mine. Used to own a Z, but transitioned to a 2012 STI when he moved up north. Recently got married and switched to a new 4-door GTI, but saw Brandon's Nismo up for sale and just couldn't resist the urge. Don't blame him one bit! I was even looking into picking this car up.

I'll be sure to get him in this thread

Yea don't worry guys, I'll be making a thread for her soon!

I loved my 06 350Z (got it in 08) and it killed me to trade it for the STI. And I was never really happy with the performance of the STI (or the price new), so the whole ordeal left a sour taste in my mouth. Trading it in for the GTI (great dd by the way) allowed me to pay off my wife and I'd wedding rings in less than a year (8k gone lol) so it's all good and got my finances back on track.

When I first heard that Brandon's Z was up for sale I really wanted to get it but didn't think It'd be a wise choice, but sat on the thought. After a month of it being on sale (and the weather going from **** snow to spring finally), I really wanted to ****** it up. Worked the finance numbers and talked with my wife (most important part) and the numbers came out good and the wife said I should go for it, and that I'd look really sexy driving it . So I went for it. And couldn't be happier to be back in a Z. Though my co workers think I'm crazy since they've now seen me in 3 different cars lol.

I'll post the link in here once I create the thread. I first want to get the windshield fixed. A few days before I went to test drive it Brandon had taken it out and had a rock crack it. It was a pretty big crack then, but somehow, probably from hitting a bump, while driving it back to it's new home, the crack propogated from just at the top to all the way down to the windshield lol. I have everything rolling to get it fixed but am waiting on Safelite to call me back.

Cujo, just an FYI, when you call safelite make sure and ask if the tech has experience with replacing windshields on 350Zs. I had a bad experience(I made a thread about it years ago) and it cost them a pretty penny to fix. Not saying safelite is all bad but some franchises are better than others. Anyhoo congrats on your Nismo!

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely ask that! DO you have a link to the thread or was it deleted? If not, in short, what happened with your replacement?

I had to get my '06 350Z's glass replaced as well coincidently, I didn't run into a problem with them doing it. It was also inside a shop though.

Just search Safelite, and my thread is on the bottom of the second page. Basically the guy cracked both door pillar panels, drivers door seal, scratched the roof etc. This all happened when I lived in CA and my body shop fixed everything good as new. I am on an iPad so I dunno how to copy paste with this damn thing, sorry.

My 2 year old daughter is better with it than I am. What I really like it for is a universal remote for my HT setup.

Thanks man! It's definitely an amazing car that brandon did a great job on. I can't wait to start expanding upon it. I believe my first order of business is to give her a branded shift *** from lathe werkz. I'm thinking of putting her name on the ***, "Black Betty".

Oh snap, don't keep us waiting too long!

Given what you did to your Z I'm sure I will like what you do to your next car

Carl, once I'm back in the states I'm looking to swap out the sub box you sold me from your '06 for one that'll give me some more space in the back. Since you're back in a Z, let me know if you'd be interested in it. I know how you are with your audio!

Thanks bud! I'm going to go with something different this time around though. More than likely I'm going to try to mount my one sub behind the driver seat and call it a day with that part instead of something in the trunk under the strut bar.
