Default Need Some Help Other NISMO Owners....

Hey all. I know I haven't posted around here in a while, school and work has taken up my life, either way I come back asking for your help.

I have been struck by that lovely issue where the front bumper has been cracked due to the plastic support braces behind it being pushed into the bumper by downforce. I have filed a claim with Nissan but the Nissan representative that called me back was extremley rude and not helpful. She told me Nissan would not cover this, would not let me talk at all, called me 3 times at work before I picked up, when I asked her to call back tomorrow when I was not at work she refused and said if I did not like the decision to contact the BBB. None the less I am going to do so, but here is where I need your help. I have seen posts before about people having this issue and fighting to get it fixed, what I am asking for is if you have any information that I can utilize as proof that this has happened to other NISMO models. If you have a service order, or a claim number, or even a vin and when and where you had it fixed by nissan it would help. If you do not want to post it publicly feel free to send me a PM. I know I am asking a lot and I hope that you guys will help.

Either way wish me luck with the BBB.... And thanks again
-Patrick

Good luck--I had the same issue and argued with Nissan until I was blue in the face. A guy over at conoc.net got his repaired up in Denver under warranty and I've heard of several others. Armed with this info I opened my claim back up with Nissan but to no avail. I was thinking about taking them to small claims court here in Colorado but really just haven't had the time--there's been several threads on this and I think mine might have been the first.

Make sure there are no marks underneath from hitting bumps and the like. I know several have had issues with the marks and the dealers saying that there was abuse. My vehicle was fixed by Brown's Nissan in Fairfax Va. They didn't replace, but trimmed the guides, plastic welded the ripped area, and the painted. Pretty easy fix. I have pics somewhere on one of the posts.

I am actually on my second bumper (first one was hit while parked) and this one is starting to do the same thing.

I actually had about 2700 miles on mine when I had it repaired. The rip started on the passenger side.

my problem is i live in miami, fl and there is some under scratch from the high speed bumps they have which is the problem i am arguing now. the fact is there is no way the under-scrape would cause the damage as much as it is and the fact that under-scrape would push up and away and not down. i'll get some pics later as i'm at work.... i wonder if there are over 50 of us that have had an issue like this where i could file a class claim..... either way the lady at nissan district here in miami is definitely getting a BBB complaint for how rude and inconsiderate she was.

Tweat it - many companies are realizing the power of social media to the targeted market.

Sorry all for the delays, full time school and work make it hard to get on here. I have sent something to the BB about the employee but am working on details of the car issue itself.

For those who asked her are pics. You can see that the left that had more space by the plastic support beam is not having any issues but the driver side you can see the obvious issue.
