Default 07/08 NISMO Z suspension question

I hope someone here can answer my question.

I know that the Nismo Z has additional welds/reinforcements/etc., revised shocks and springs, wheels, and body kit.

I want to know if the Nismo also uses metal bearings on the suspension instead of rubber bushings, or if it has different suspension geometry than a regular Z.

Thanks.

By metal bearings do you mean heim joints?

Kingbaby is right. You can turn the wheels to the sides to check out the front bushings. You can literally crawl under the back end of the car to see the rear suspension bushings; there is plenty of room under there.

You'll see black rubber on all the bushings.

Dont really know havent taken mine off. I know I have seen metal small bearing in the rubber mounts before when taking other vehicle struts out. They were badly worn and just popped off they went everywhere.

Thanks! It looks like the main advantages of a Nismo Z over a regular Z in SCCA BSP competition then are the unibody reinforcement/rigidity and body kit.

Does the Nismo Z REMOVE anything from the interior? Does it not have the storage behind the seats or the rear wiper?

Yes.

Go check one at a dealership. I'm sure there's a couple at a local meet...I always let true enthusiast drive my car so that they get a full idea of the difference!

On my nismo there is a damper/stiffener mounted in the front of the car and if you lift up the back panel that hides the spare there is another unit there, both units are made by Yamaha, you can definitively feel the road, but I like the feedback
