Trading the Nismo for an Evo X MR
If anything, this winter has taught me RWD does not work in New England.
Our SUV crapped the bed and my nismo is out of commision for the next few months. I'm thininkg about trading in an old SUV and the Nismo for the Evo and paying the difference
Thoughts?

I'm in CT, and drove in pretty much in every storm we had this year in my 07 Z with Blizzaks without a problem, even acted as a winter taxi for my co-worker who has a 2010 camero ss, lol now thats a car that doesn't like winter. Keep the Nismo and get a cheap SUV next year?

I would keep the Nismo too! Its best to just have a cheap DD for the winter. I am lucky and have a Company service van and a Frontier for whenever I don't feel like taking the Nismo out. I can't imagine trying to drive the Niz on Ice or Snow covered roads.
I barely got the car out of the drive way once with a patch of glare ice as long as the car. Traction control was off. I had to have a friend hep me push it. Yikes! You guys are brave. lol

You do realize asking whether you should get rid of a 350z on a 350z website will yield insanely biased responses, right? Ask the same Q on an Evo site and you will hear something completely different.
So what do you do? Look at your current financial position and ask yourself how much you are willing to spend and which option fits your specific lifestyle the best. Hell, make a pro/con list and see which checks out!

^ Ya but people on here are pretty intellegent and understand you can only go so far in the winter with RWD.
Plus the Evo is a little more practical. The big reason I'm considering it is because my dad said he'd pay the difference from what we get on a trade in for the SUV and Nismo to a new Evo.
Plus the Nismo is up for its 30,000 mile service and needs 4 new tires. So if I'm going to do it nows the time.
However, with all that said.... I do love my Nismo.

^ Lol yea aside from the fact that I'm a spoiled brat...
My dad used to use the SUV so he will be using the Evo as well in the winter. I work a lot so I only really need it when I go out to clients and on the weekends.
Plus only 1 insurance bill instead of 2
