Default A funny thing happend to me at the gas station tday

Hey guys

So i was filling the nismo up with gas, this guy got out of his Mercedes AMG and walked over to me and said...how much would you take for your car, which took me a little bit by surprise so laughingly i said 25k,(just a # i pulled out of my head) it's a red 07 Nismo with 7k miles on it,he said ok i really want this but i'm gonna go do a little research on it first.Got home later that day and there was a message on the answer machine saying...Hey man when can i come and get the Nismo.....Is 25k a good price?

What would you guys do ???? I love this car but 25k would pay it off no more payments...I'm not sure.

I'd take guaranteed funds of 25k and run away laughing like a little girl.

Were you looking to sell? If not, why would you even consider this? Nismos are awesome.

if your not affected by this economy I wouldn't take it...enjoy your car a tad more

plus you have super low miles...28k at least!

or point him in the direction of EBAY!

With the low mileage on your car I would say it is worth more.

If you don't need the money, keep it, or ask for something like 28k.

Or, take the money and go buy a 335i.

Depending on how much you owe, and how much you put into the car I would say sell it, pay it off, then use the rest as a down payment on a new 370z nismo >=)

but yeah ask yourself some key questions like can you afford to sell it at this time? is it your only vehicle? could you put that money towards bills, mortgage, loans etc. have you invested alot of mods in it? are you sure you wanna part with your beloved Z just like that?

Did you mean $25k is the amount of the pay off or you would pay it off and still have some left?

Because if it's the former ($25k to pay off the car only) then it's not worth it, because:
a. you'll be stuck with no car
b. you won't have any money left for a down payment for a new one.

I wouldn't sell mine for 25k, but what ever makes you happy. If payments are the big issue, why buy it in the first place.

If he is driving an AMG I would call him back and say I"m sorry but I pulled that # out of my *** jokingly!.. If you are serious, I will take 30K for it.

There are very very few Redline Nismo's! Not to mention you only have 7kmi on the car!!! I only have 10 Kmi on mine. I wouldn't sell my car. I enjoy it to much. The whole 3000-3500 miles a year that I use it.. lol

So what if it pays off the car. How much cash will you really walk away with for a down payment on your next car?! Can you justify it?

Default I hear ya

Thanks for all the input guys

No mods on my car except 2 aftermarket intakes...Yeah that's the problem i still owe 26k (I was really in the hole with my trade in when i bought the Nismo).I have a 2010 F150 i use for my daily driver so I wont be without a ride...My other thought is i''v been paying for 3 years my loans over 5 so I'd make enough to pay it off but have nothing to show for it after 3 yrs of payments. No the car wasn't up for sale...not until this guy asked me if i wanted to sell it,

I didn't have a lot of time to think about it at the time, but now i'v had time I think LAKESIDE is right I'm gonna keep the car unless he offers me 30k which I don't think for a minuet he will but this guy has money so who knows..

Anyway guys thanks for your input.....Take it easy.

PS I'll keep ya posted...............
