I've been thinking about owning a Nismo Z for the last few weeks, and ive been wondering what kind of reactions it would get from the public, seeing has how outrageous it is. What have people said about your NISMO edition 350z? Stupid, Funny, Love/Hate comments ect...

I know we got a thread for the regular Z but im wondering about the Nismo only.

 

I get the "Is this yours?" comment alot!

 

Back in 2008 when it was new I had a guy tell man thats the new GTR its bad ***

 

I get the, "Is that a Porsche?" alot.

 

I get "nice car"

 

lol I get that too, once, I walked passed these two guys and his friend goes.. "so who drives the Porsche over there?"

 

I got "Nice car Paul... Is Vin Diesel nearby?"

couldn't even be mad because it was so clever lmao

 

I always get that's yours I don't own a nismo bit have the 06^ nismo liP and nismo v2 spoiler and a charge speed rear looks baller girls always be staring and old men are always asking me what it is

 

As soon as I get my first compliment, I'll let you guys know.. I've only seen two here in Los Angeles. One in front of a billiard house and the second pulled over by the cops.

 

Either way in from of billiard or off to the side by cops...

I get this often.

Because I was 18

 

i get alot of stares due to me being 6'6" so when i climb out people have the wtf how did he get in there look lol it turns heads everywhere!

 

I get some random *** people pulling up next to me telling me my car looks "wicked sick."

"Did you do all this stuff to it"

I got flagged down by a pretty nice STI, he almost dead stopped in the middle of an intersection because he was staring at my car. He kept putting his hazards on in front of me and gesturing me to pull over but I was in a pretty bad neighborhood so I didn't. Then he all the sudden comes out of a turn in front of me so I finally pull over and he asked me to join his car club. He was like "you did all this stuff you definitely have to show it off."

 

I get that a lot too. Most people don't believe me when I say it all came stock. I even had a guy on this forum ask where I got my front core support brace.

 

dunno if I should take this as a compliment, but one of my friends with a 240sx asked me if I had my stock rims...

 

Driving home one day I see this kid looking at my car from the back of a pickup. My windows were up, but I could clearly see him saying "Wow...that's a nice car". I took it as a compliment, and it's been the best so far.

Most of everyone I meet think it's been modified asking me everything under the sun about my wheels, exhaust, body kit, drop, etc. Most people (car enthusiasts or not) don't know about the Nismo model, so I just gotta assume that everyone thinks it's modified. The sharp ones figure it out after seeing the Nismo emblem on the back.

 

I get asked if I did all the work to it. So many people don't realize that nissan sold the car like that, even if they are car people.

I did have one little girl (maybe 12-14 y/o) make a comment about the car being riced out when I drove past, but everything else has been a positive, even cops that stopped me saying it was a nice looking car. Girls i'm with always love it, and the red stitching on the seats always gets noticed by chicks.

 

Mostly "Is that a GTR/370Z/Porsche?" Lots of thumbs up from small kids and teenagers, one very enthusiastic older guy (40s) at a gas station.

 

All my neighbors think it's a Porsche, have had a lot of positive comments at gas stations and a lot of "Look at that car!!!" from the local grommets running around.

 

Man that would bother me if I heard that from anyone lol.
