Default Put a deposit on #209 today

Well, I sold my 2004 Touring last December, and have missed it everyday since. I should have held onto it, I sold it VERY cheap, but since I've managed to budget myself much better...

so a quick local search today, and I found a Nismo! I was ready to buy one about a year and a half ago, but it was sold the same day I went to the dealer with a check.

...waiting to hear what insurance will be (my last Z was near $3,000....), then I'll give the yes or no.

just over 16k miles, price is PERFECT...lower than pretty much anything I've seen. Car is great...needs a good buff to remove some swirls, and someone attached something to the flip up door...so there's a couple holes, but aside from that I love it.

will update if I bring her home...!!!

If there are swirls the car must've been previously worked on . Check it out to every detail

Thanks ZS...they look like wash swirls. I've worked as a bodytech, so when I see the car again, I'm going to give it a thorough inspection. I didn't notice anything looking at it quickly though. I was short on time, and didn't want to miss the car at such a good price, so a quick test drive and deposit was all I needed for now.

Do it man! I've never had any regrets with the car. All it's missing is the turbo kit lol, but it still pulls hard imo. Anyways, good luck!

What color is yours? White was actually my first choice...but I'm not picky! I love the red in person.

Thanks guys...AllState gave me a great quote on insurance. I'll have to call and double check everything with them, plus check my current company. I have no desire to get raped by my current insurance company...seeing as I've paid over $2000/year (up until now) for the last 5-6 years...and never used it once.

How much you getting it for if you don't mind me asking? I do like the red, actually alot more after I saw it in person.

Yay another Mass Nismo around!!! I think I saw this one on the highway about a month ago. They are not too common so I assume it is this one. I only know of 4 1/2 in Mass (1/2 being a reconstructed halfass put back together one).

Its listed for $24,995.

There is another red locally, its an 08. The one I was going to purchase previously....it will never show, but someone backed into it while at the dealer, and they replaced the whole front. I forget what number it is.

Hope everything works out in your favor with the insurance. It'll be good to see another Nismo on the forums!

well i went back today...I love the car it's exactly what i want.

BUT

Upon looking closer...
both bumpers, both doors, both quarter panels and one fender have been repainted. There's lots of rock chips across the whole car, the side skirt is torn, rear bumper cracked....it all added up and I know personally I couldn't live with these things, regardless of price. I would rather wait and find a nicer one, than try to fix every little things with this.

I has teh sads.

^^^^ Can't go wrong with a Redline.. Hmmmm If I decide to sell mine I'll contact you. But I'd want some more cash.

$25K is alot for a car in that condition. I only have 12K on my Nismo. All highway miles.

I'd hold out for 28-30K for mine if I sell. Not a chip in it.

Yeah, 28-30k seems to be the going price. At that point, I'd just buy a 370 though.

Unfortunately, the carfax is clean, and someone that doesn't know any better will end up purchasing the car. I just know personally I would never be happy, because I don't know why the car has been painted, I just know it wasn't a quality job. There was a huge run under the handle, that was the first give away...and the drivers door has a nice wave in it. Mechanically the car felt fantastic.

I am glad I brought my twin brother along. While on a second test drive, a couple unknowing salesman had a laugh with him about abusing cars on the lot...including this one. I believe as I was pulling out he said "why buy a nismo when you can buy an altima?"
