I was able to get about 15k out of my stock rear tires and that was with dragging my car almost every weekend in the summer when I bought it. Now I just buy Nitto 555s. Decent tire, great price and they are lasting a lot longer then the Potenzas.
Pilot Super Sports are supposed to be an absolutely insane tire. My buddy has a set on his M3 and cant say enough good things about them.
I've been running Hankook Ventus V12 tires and they're a great value, but the performance wont be as great as the michelins.
