I don't get it either...I frequent the mileage threads here and some people got heart broken when their cars hit 40k miles . These engines get better with age. My dad had a 96 i30 that he bought when it first came out. At 100k miles I can say it drove better than when it had 40k miles.

To the OP, 60k is high...for the year. But not for the car imo.

i have 46k on my 07 grand touring. bought it with 29k miles and put nearly 20k in 10 months.

as much as i dislike putting miles on her life goes on. just sucks to change the oil so frequently in the cold weather outside. the rain up here does not help either.

Going at my rate, give me another 15 years and I shall resurrect this thread with a post reaching 60K miles.

Most don't own a Z as a daily driver. I see '03's to '05's around here with very low mileage. In the northeast they are only on the road for 4-6 months. It would take me 12 years at least to hit 60 kmi. I only drive it 3-4kmi a year.

For me, it's my exotic car. Weekend cruiser! Or garage queen as people here say... I have my new Titan, fiancee's car and a company work truck. So the miles get divided up, with the Z seeing the least use. It's not practical for anything other then FUN..

At my rate, I'll hit 60K in about 3 years. Weekend Warrior!

I'm not complaining by any means. She's my DD and I drive the **** out of her. In one week I drove her from TN to NJ to FL and back to TN and loved every minute of it. Just gauging where the other NISMO owners are.
