I can bleed them in 5 minutes. If everything is adjusted correctly and the master cyl is good it is very simple.

Thanks dude! Its just as easy as bleeding brakes, just make sure the car is level in the air (don't just jack up the front). Loving the new wheels

Looks like your enjoying every pony that supercharer puts out!.. glad to see it..

I am thinking of doing a tune on my car, any reputable tuners in Edmonton or Calgary that won't botch it and actually have quality tunes that you know of?

the market in Sask is, well, not the best to pick from so im told!

If your tuning with uprev/ osiris, I would look into Lightspeed Innovations located in Red Deer.

Hey everyone! Just thought I would report in with some new developments with the car. Well nothing has changed on the car as of late, but rather been using it the to fullest extent Here are some pictures from my latest event that I particpated in. I signed up for a HPDE event at a local track through one of my buddies and had the time of my life! Drifting is fun and all, but track driving is excitment on a whole new level. I think its safe to say that im hooked and my next event is in a week. Onto some pictures.

Me and some buddies met up at a gas station before we headed over. First me.

Then my friends Mr2
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7797724028/http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7797724028/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/75614849@N08/, on Flickr

Then another friends G35
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7797724556/http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7797724556/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/75614849@N08/, on Flickr

So then we head out to the track. Heres the track layout. Its a pretty small track as you can see. I kept it in 3rd most of the time and only shifted into 4the on the back straight. Regardless it was a blast.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7801605754/http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7801605754/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/75614849@N08/, on Flickr

Here are some of the other cars that showed up.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7797726430/http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7797726430/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/75614849@N08/, on Flickr

Here's a go pro video from the end of the day. Excuse the terrible camera angle, although it does show how close im getting to the apex cone in some spots Next time im going to mount it on the roof im thinking. My cleanest lap is the third one on this clip. I getto timed it a couple times by just waching it and using my iphone timer. I keep coming up with 1min 10sec -1min 11sec. Which is interesting because it feels like i can gain alot with more practise as this was my first time on this track.

Closing pic from the end of the day.

I know there was a photographer there so in the future I'll update with those pictures when they are available. Stay tuned! Oh and im putting some Dot 5 in this weekend lol

Thanks bud. Your TT kit is off the hook! You will not be disappionted The track in the video is Stratotech Raceway. Its just a carting and bike track, not really ideal for wheel to wheel racing.

This is the new circuit castrol is building. It was actually designed by the guy talking to me halfway through that video. 4 lanes wide lol cant wait. Phase one should be ready some time in September!!!

My buddy in the G35 sent this to me today lol 295s in the rear and 265s in the front for his G. Serious grip.

Yeah I didn't think it was 100% finished. Looks like it'll be a good road track. Man, those 295's look niiiiiice! I'm hooking really well with the 285's so far....my thinking is that he is going to love those 295's!

Oh for sure! Im pretty sure this is the greatest thing to happen to Edmonton motorsports wise in years! Since RaceCity closed down, can I expect to see you up here for some events? Perhaps some TT vs SC Nismo battles? fingers crossed

Ya those R888s are insane for grip. He had them on the rear before and loved them. It will be interesting to see how next track day goes regarding his lap times.

Picked up some dot5 brake fluid the other day. Going to install it Saturday morning before I go do some lapping at stratotech. Last time I was there, I had a rediculous amout of brake fade. Stainless steel line are next on the list.

Pretty bored at work today. All I can think about is doing some lapping tomorrow at the track. I edited a video from a couple weeks ago of my buddy in the white Mr2. He's giving me a ride and Im giving him some pointers on his driving. As he was turning into corner 5, he apexed too early causing some exciting results. lol

I'll have more go pro videos from different angles. I cant wait to battle my buddy again in his dialed in G35. More to come!

Default Track Day No. 2

Well I had my second track day with the nismo, and I am focusing on smoothness and consistanty on my runs. I start of nice and easy, then gradually increase my pace, roll-in speed into the corner and gradually move my braking points forward. What I'm noticing from the car is, when I'm coming out of a tight corner especially when I'm in 2nd, I get massive wheel spin on the inside wheel. I have to modulate the throttle to combat this to the extent where I cant even get near WOT untill I've fully exited the corner. Any ideas of how I can fix this? Upgraded rear sway bars? Upgraded diff?

In other developments, I bled my brakes and put in the dot 5 fluid. There must still be air bubbles in the lines somewhere because my peddal is still spongy as f**k. Guess I'll try again with a vaccume bleeder and not just getto bleed them. Anyways onto the pictures.

Just about ready to head out. Car all shined up.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7883370456/http://www.flickr.com/photos/75614849@N08/7883370456/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/75614849@N08/, on Flickr

Weather at the track was super gloomy. Looked like it was ready to rain at any moment. My buddy, Adrian, in the G35 had his crazy massive r888's on and made it out as well.

Here's some of the other cars that where there when we showed up.

This 135 BMW was very quick. He pulled on me on the back straight. Every time he shifted, there would be a glorious fire ball out the exhaust. The Volk rims looked so beautiful.

Heres some video of my first session. Shaved a second off my last event.

Here's Adrians runs. I hade massive fade at this point lol

Thats it for now, next track day is September 22nd so stay tuned!
