I was driving back to Cal Poly last night after spending springbreak at my hometown. I was driving along the right shoulder lane at 101 S Bound, when suddenly my car ran over a big puddle. My car immediately hydroplaned and swerved across four lanes towards the the center divider. Luckily I got out of the accident without a scratch however the front of my car is smashed. Still waiting for the insurance company's damage estimate but it seems I have to part ways with her based on the condition she was in last night.

I made a teaser video of my car earlier that day to promote our youtube channel, however after what happened the following night; this video will probably be my last goodbye to her. I'll cut to the chase and share the video I made for my car. Hopefully this video will make you guys cherish and appreciate your car more before it leaves you behind. Thanks for reading and enjoy.

UPDATE: I'd like to thank all of you guys here for the support, and I really appreciate your feedback. Howeverafter talking to my insurance company, I've decided to keep her, and revive her. It's alot of damage to fix but after checking out my car this morning, I realize it's fixable and definitely worth going the extra mile for. Here's a pic of it.

Thanks for the support you guys, really appreciate it. I nearly cried just seeing my car in ruins on my driveway this morning, since I've had her for almost 4 years and put in alot of money and work to it. But accidents happens and I guess it was just time to part ways. Regardless, I will never forget the 350z Nismo. If I could, I would revive mine.

 

Are you gonna call it a total loss or are you going to pull some of your parts off?

Do you have any pictures of it pre-crashed and post-crashed.

Pre-crashed= Custom wheel thread (painted stocks count)

Post-crashed= to figure out what parts to call dibs on jk.

 

While this is messed up....if it was my Nismo...I rather spread the car among the others spreading it's chi until there was ONE...

sorry to hear about the crash. car looked great. I would try to revive it if it were mine.

if parting out anything let me know. couple items I would definately take off your hands.

 

Regardless of how it happened...glad no one was injured. Sorry to hear about the car. It's sad to see another red Nismo leave. Have you thought about a replacement car/sports car?
