I've spent a LOT of time searching for exhausts that are aesthetically pleasing on the Nismo. Obviously that is personal opinion, so I created the Photos of Nismos With Aftermarket Exhausts Thread. This way, each member can make their own decision on what looks right. It seems like you are searching for something similar to what I am interested in, as I was once considering an Exoticspeed "Amuse Replica." I decided to go a different direction, as the coloring of the mufflers is a very sensitive topic. In my personal opinion, the full-titanium Amuse can pull off the burnt look nicely, as the color-balance is perfect. The blue color is subtle and nicely fades into a yellow (see photos in my thread above). The Exoticspeed, on the otherhand, is much more bold with the blue coloring and there is more of it. There is also very little of the other colors, so the fade/transition effect is not really apparent. Therefore, I feel like 50% of people will find the Exoticspeed looks OK/good/great. The other 50% will lean towards it looking "ricey" or "trying too hard" or "kiddish." It all depends on where you stand and what you think looks good!

The exhaust I just ordered, actually, is the Invidia Gemini. Essentially the same look as the Exoticspeed, but without the colored mufflers (you can get burnt-titanium tips if you need some color) and it is also a true-dual exhaust. Vendors, here, sell it for under $800.

I just added some sound clips to my original post above of some 07/08 HR Z's with the Invidia Gemini exhaust installed. A few of them also have high-flow cats installed (see video titles), which you can now afford and still be around your $1200 budget!

As Promised

Pics aren't of my car, actually, but it's the best I can do during the bad weather!
