New bits
Projects for the spring:
DBA two-piece rotor install;
Quaife differential install with Nismo diff cover
NA motor build (Wossner pistons and rods, Tomei cams, Ferrea valves, valve springs, etc.)
OSGiken clutch
Aluminum radiator
Oil cooler
600cc injectors
Goal is to have it up and running my 4/1/2013. So I figure it'll be sometime next year.

So, the goal to have it up and running by 4/1/2013 was clearly a little ambitious. However, the car will be coming home from Kooks on or about 7/24/2013. Motor should be finished by the end of the month. Will post more pictures once I get it home.
James at Kooks held up the tips so I could decide on which to choose. I ultimately decided on the quad tip set-up a la the GTR.
With the long tubes and the motor, car has the potential to make 400rwhp (12:1 compression, Tomei 280 cams, Ferrea valves, head work, Wossner piston/rods, OS Giken twin disk with aluminum flywheel balanced on the motor.

So...it's been a year. I bet no one saw that coming. My father had a stroke in September which delayed things a bit. Decided to have a custom harmonic balancer built (delay). Weather in the northeast, where engine is being built, has been horrendous (delay). Some parts were delayed. Motor should be ready in the next month or two (or six?). I will keep you posted. Had the car dyno'd/tuned here in San Antonio. Car made 290 to the wheels. Think a nicer cold air (Stillen?) would net another ten hp to bring the total to 300 before the motor goes in, but I don't feel like spending the $500+ on ten horsepower with the motor coming soon (I hope).
