Please don't take this the wrong way but if you think the Nismo is stiff and want to "upgrade", this is the wrong car for you.

But, if you do want to switch out the shocks and springs to a softer riding set up, please let me know that you are doing this. I have $500 to give you for your original Yamaha shocks and Nismo springs. Seriously. Open offer.

You can put "civilized" shocks and springs on it but that defeats the purpose of owning a Niz. Look into getting some stock springs with stock type replacement shocks, maybe the KYB GR-2. Forget about coilovers. Especially cheap ones. COs are built for adjustability and the softest setting will typically be at least as rough as the stock Niz set up.

By the way, the above suggestion is a DOWNGRADE to the Nismo suspension, pretty much the MAIN reason for owning a Nismo in the first place.... besides all the aero junk.

Hey Thx for the reply... Maybe I'm just not use to the Nismo suspension . My first time having an import. Mostly been around American muscle.. had the Nismo for almost 3yrs n just put 2000 miles on it..I'll just have to get out n play more often . Thx..
