I do practice what I preach, even tho it hurts sometimes lol. Mad props for having ambition to work on cars at 80 BTW! Would never even ponder the Idea of an 80yo in a new Z, specially considering how beautiful 240s are.

oh btw the 370z is much better no doubt but style wise i preferred the simplicity of the 350 (and it was paid for) :>) but my stiff old body had much trouble getting into the shorter 370 and at 80 suffering from stage 2 diabetes ...the after effects of a brain stem stroke.....and leg neuropathy ...well .....life is like a roll of toilet paper.....the closer u get to the cardboard the faster it goes and then all u are left with is a buncha ......crap....im so old they didnt even teach history in HS

I am "only" 38 but I know what you mean, I personally don't like 370s all that much, I prefer the interior on them but I like the looks of the 350s more. That's why I did (and I'm still doing) interior work. As it stands I like mine more than 370s and it will only get better.

That was my dilemma at the time when I was looking for a new sporty car, 2005 350z or 2005 s2000. The exhaust note from the vq and torque won me over. The look of the car just had so much more presence than the s2000.
