i've had my nismo since November of 2013 and i'm at the point where i want to start my build. i already have cold air intakes installed but i hope to one day replace those with TT. the next thing i was going to focus on is exhaust. my question is, is the stock nismo exhaust anything special when it comes to power output?

should i keep the exhaust thats on there and add some high flow cats and call it a day or would i see much more power come from aftermarket exhaust. im sure this has been asked but couldnt find anything that answered this question.

 

You want to replace them with TT (twin turbo?) Yet you want to buy a stock exhaust.... with a turbo you need a completely open exhaust

 

no not buy a stock exhaust. keep the stock exhaust thats on there now was my question

 

Exhaust needs to be opened for a turbo kit.

 

would high flow cats open it up enough on the exhaust that comes stock on the nismo. or would i be better off with an after market exhaust

 

I'm running an open dump(no cats, no resonator, no muffler) on my car only at 5psi

 

The best thing for you to do would be to get rid of the Nismo exhaust and replace it with a more open one and sell the Nismo exhaust to me for about $200 lol.
