My Nismo got new tires
I got my new Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R installed today. I love the look and feel of these tires. Very sticky even in near freezing temperatures. It will be so much fun when it gets warmer.
Sorry about the dirty car. I was just so excited to get a pic of the tires

Wow Wolfiusa, didn’t the tire dealer give you the warning literature that comes with these tires? Like the extreme performance Pirelli P Zero Trofeo and Goodyear F1 supercar G2 tires featured on the very track focused new Camaro/Vet models these tires feature a super low void rubber compound. GM bulletin 13-03-10-001A states that this type of tire is not to be stored, mounted and especially not driven in near freezing temperatures or the rubber will develop cracks that will effect tire life and performance. Read Tire-Rack’s same warnings for the track day RE-71R tires. It seems even Fox News knows this.

I go them at Town Fair Tire. I am using 245/40/18 and 275/35/19. I ordered them Last Friday and they were ready to install Monday. I will absolutely keep you all posted on performance, lifetime, wet performance. For cold days I got last fall a Juke Nismo RS. :-)
Jealous. Ordered mine 3 weeks ago from tire rack. Waiting approximately another 2 weeks for the 255/40/18's for the front. Meh.
And I think you're fine driving carefully in "near freezing" temps. Just not ideal grip-wise.

First impression: Cornering is amazing. Much better than the stock tire. Wet traction is not bad at all. There was no standing water. Noise is a little strange. But not annoying to me at all. Louder? Yes but not by much. Any ways if I wanted a quiet car I would have bought a Leaf :-)
