Default 350z Nismo purchase

Just curious beings that the 350z Nismo is a limited edition did at anytime during your ownership had you ever regretted buying her? Would have an ‘07 or ‘08 Track been a better buy? I ask cos sometimes I think I do because of how limited these things are. Don’t get me wrong I love my Nismo. That being said I hope Nissan doesn’t make the 400z Nismo a limited edition...I’ll be less stressed I think 🤣.

The 07-8 Nismo IS the Track version for those model years.

What is regrettable about a limited edition anyhow? If anything, that should make it that much more desirable. Not really sure where you’re going with this. I’ve owned two, one 33 and my first “modern” Z car following its return in ‘02, my 34N. If anything, I regret I no longer own either. Note i said “if anything”... 😆

My biggest regret about my '08 Nismo is selling it. That car was too much fun.

you fail to see my point. Regrets in that maybe you don’t drive her as much because she is a limited edition. regrets maybe because it is just a bit more stressful owning a limited edition. You know worrying about mileage..scratches..dents dings..getting genuine body parts if needed..curbing the wheels cos youre such a great driver etc..

Get it now?.. probably not but that’s okay you dont even own one so step aside..just let it go. Why hang in the Nismo side 😂😂😂.

Yeah, Mic. Take your non-Nismo owning self out of here.

Thanks, Daniel, appreciate your putting me in my place twice today. 🐦

But yeah....What. Ever. I’ve owned two. So what? It’s just another Z. Did I love them? Yep. Did I do comparisons for the benefit of the community? Yep. Was I critical and honest about the low points? Yep.

Oh, but now I can’t post in a thread that shows up to everyone. Booooohoooo, I’m so sad. Wahhhhh.

Ehhh, that’s part of the problem with people owning “limited editions”, they take themselves and their car's importance far too seriously.

Get over it.

No regrets, no concerns. i try to drive it at least once a week so the battery can stay in good shape. i guess it makes a difference when you have other cars that you can drive, meaning other daily drivers.

I just feel that owning a Nismo restricts you in a way. For instance, I would have no second thoughts selling off body panels for aftermarkets panels.

Nismo, you're kinda stuck to it. Yes, there is some kit that even makes Nismo kit subpar like G'Mak, Amuse, INGS+ etc
