350hp is what it should have been at launch, a nice little upgrade for the nismo edition

slapping stillen exhaust onto your 370z will make you 350hp. So gonna say very unlikely it gets DI

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. I believe it was recently announced that the 3.7 would get direct injection bumping the HP to around 350hp

Considering Nissan (and every other manufacturer in the world) rates thier power at the crank. Adding a Nismo intake and Exhaust would be all it takes to claim another 18. Aside from that I'm sure there will be some sort of aero package and suspension spec changes. Although DI would be nice, They haven't exactly done anything for power aside from a bolt on exhaust in the past for the Nismo models in the US. I'm hoping to get proved wrong here.

Don't forget if Nissan raises the HP on the car they have to get the car certified again for emissions, etc. That is why they didn't do it with the NISMO 350Z. So if they do it with the 370z I be impressed as they probably considered it when coming out with the model and included it in the funds.

Good comment...

Agreed.. A HP change on a new production car in the US, isn't just a simple thing.

Looks like modding my HR will soon be just as useless as modding a DE...

The 350hp on the Nismo is accurate. I don't know how they did it though. We will see tonite.

DI seems way to early when theres barely any Z34's on the street.
Everyone would want a Nismo.

+1 on it just being "nismo" breathing mods.

Yeah, I just read the DI article and I'm doubting that was it is. It didn't seem like it would be any time soon

LOL at all the people with the 07-08 Nismo editions. They thought they had something special and they thought that a Nismo edition would only be produced for 2007 and 2008...but it's not! haha

You guys with the nismo edition 07-08's aren't special. It's all marketing and they will keep producing "special edition" nismo's..

If it weren't for the press-release on the NNA site I would call BS on this, that site they have up there looks like it was designed by a 15 year old.
