The only downfall is that it hits maximum HP @7400 RPM, you'll need to rev the **** out of it in order make good use of the 350HP.

I've had my little "out-dated" Z since 2003. Trust me I don't.

 

I really like the looks of the new Nismo.
I'll wait to pass judgement until I see it up close
and personal. I hated the pics of the 350 Nismo,
but I loved it when I saw it right in front of me.
I love how some of you still hate on the Nismo,
you just can't let it go...even after all this time.

Just think a formula 1 car revs to 18,000 RPM's to make power. But even then, you are now talking about horsepower of a C5 vette, not as much torque, but its also a smaller engine. I say its about time to get rind of the 03.

The 370Z is great, probably the next car for me, even though I've got a perfectly good '08 with <3000 miles and I'm not planning to buy in the immediate future (I won't buy the 1st model year.)

But damn, unless this is outrageously expensive or rides like a log truck on flat tires I think I'll pony up the cash for the NISMO.

I mean, the regular 370 looks good and all, and then having the NISMO performance add-ons all factory warranteed, an extra 20 HP, and it's still seam-welded, I mean, ****, that's great. But, it ****ing LOOKS good, too. Damn, you Nissan! WHY did you have to do this to my bank account!?!?

Never said anyone did. Just that I bought the most performance-oriented model there was for that car instead of the standard version. There's now a new car out and it has a version that's more performance oriented than the standard model.

It's inevitable that eventually something newer/better will come out and to be upset that there's an updated version of what I bought is stupid (especially knowing they were going to release the 370z within 2 years of me getting one).

Perhaps GT3 might've been a better example.

honestly I was never jealous of the Nismo 350Z's b/c of their retarded design and lack of being any different than a regular 350z..

But this 370z is wicked. I admit I truly am jealous. Kudos to Nissan for getting it right this time.

Front looks like the designers were heavily inspired by the v2/ v3 nismo fronts. It's a huge improvement over stock imop. Rear looks good too, I would spray that center section of it black though. What's everybody's take on the wheels? I personally think the design could be better but 19 x 10.5 ftw. Nicely done Nissan, another sick car outta my price range.

Ill stick with the regular 370z or no 370z at all. that car is ugly, large spoilers on cars are very gay.

 

okay it has a different suspension, and a body kit with a design flaw in the rear end.

Fortunately Nissan realized it was way too busy and fixed it for the nismo 370. They also realized that the nismo edition should come with more power, its better marketing and it actually might make this nismo edition special. Unlike previous nismo editions, this one is actually worth the higher price tag.
