^When edmunds tested it (Reg 370z), it performed better in breaking than the Z33 Nismo, but I still like the look of the gold Brembo calipers. But I guess if Nissan's breaks stop just as well, last as long, and don't fade it doesn;t really matter

Edit: Are they Brembo's just with Nissan painted calipers? I mean the breaks look about the same size as the Z33 Nismo brakes

14" Brakes will perform better than 13" brakes. The Nissan brakes are definitely a upgrade from the Brembos.

They're Akebono's, same as on the G37 sport model. They're a little bigger than the Z33 brembo's. fronts = 14" rears = 13.8"

Dont' they have a shorter stopping distance than the porsche 997 TT with the ceramic brake option?? I think I read that somewhere but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Either way, they seem like great brakes. I wonder if they can keep stopping at full force without fade for a long period of time

^Yea I think that was one big benifit of the Brembo's is that they didn't fade.

Looks a lot better than a noormal 370, I like everything but the wing. The interior is also NASTY! Only thing I dont like is the nismo logo on the seats, looks cheesy. They shoulda thrown some Recaros in there

^ I Don't know. I've been debating this "What if" question.

What if I had enough money for either car but I knew I could get into a Z33 Nismo for almost $15,000 less than the new one.

Yea they aren't going to match up performance wize, but I mean the price gap deserves some thought.

Assuming you can get a New Z33 Nismo for $30K

and a New Z34 Nismo for what I think will be $40-$45K

^haha that will be cool.

Just curious, why will you be keeping both? As a collector, or maybe for someone else in the family to have?

I would love to have both but I think after driving a car with an extra 50hp and a nicer interior it would be hard to go back, knowing you have both in the garage.

But I guess I could see tracking the Nismo 350 and using it as a beater and keeping the 370 nice and clean for the streets.

Lets face it, the cars take some serious damage on the track, which you always seem only to notice the next time you clean it.

But either way Pics side by side when you get it!

Well, I just bought a 06' 350z a few months ago and still owe a bunch of money on it.. I wasn't sure about the 370z but now I am.. Looks like I'll be interested in trading my car in 2-3 years for a 370z, they've finally grown on me.
