Ive run that all day long on my 98 Avenger 2.5L and it doesnt have near the strength of the internals that the Z's have
I do not doubt that nitrous is the best bang for the buck guy. I've somewhat considered that myself.
I am primarily talking about the tuning concept. May be you misunderstood what I was trying to say bud.
I am not saying that turbo is invincible to failure especially on NA cars. Fortunate enough, most of my cars were TT except my 96 Prelude Si with T3/T4 ball bearing (fully build H2.3) even though stronger block then the Vtec model, I just kept running into more money continuously. The previously owned VR4 ran problem free on 13psi daily with custom turbos and no intercooler breaking into 12.7 with a lot more potential believe that.

On the other hand, nitrous wills always give you the same output and no room for improvement. (“Limitation right there”) That’s all I was trying to say.

well not ALWAYS the same output, you can buy and tune for bigger nozzles, but i understand what your saying. I guess my point is, i dont need 450hp to drive to the grocery store to pickup milk and tampons , but it would be nice to have an extra 100-150hp on track day or when you may "need" it. I'm a fan of Nitrous alwasy have been, and i guess i know it best, so im partial.

would i love a nice Twin turbo kit? hell yes would i pay $6k for, not likely.

Nitrous, TC, SC, they all have a place and a purpose.

I also have a weakness for SCs on NA cars, but unfortunately no company made/makes it for a 4th Gen Prelude at the time.

If the SC comes out for our Z, I will be in the same dilemma as you and the price should be cheaper by at least a grand+. But, a TT kit would really be the ultimate terminator on the streets.

I honestly don’t know which way I am going to go since nothing is out yet for our cars and nitrous will always be there on demand.

Hey Wadd, nice avenger. Have a pic? Did you buy your intake like that or did you polish/chrome it? What kind of numbers did you run with your venom kit too on the Dodge?

eh-hemmm.... I know of a certain avenger who had the fastest recorded 1/4 time. Wait, that was me! haha.

Ill never blow 6k+ on such a slow car again.

I have lot of pics sure! Some have huge SCRATCHES across the lense, cause my camera is shot.

check out that hood. THE Z will have one like it too.

Now how about some of my wicked import flavor
Here is one of the past track beaters which gave any domestic a run for his money.

Uhhh, the memories…
