is this true about nitrous on a z
ok i called zfever in tampa fl and asked how much they would install my nitrous kit and they said it would take 6 hours and 75$ an hour lol. Then he said that nitrous on a z is hard to make power and its hard to make over 50 hp with out changing fuel pump cause the regular fuel pump doesnt put out enough pressure and he went on about other stuff i had to chage . All this sounded like A bunch of crap but then i know all they work on is z's . Can some one explain to me what i need to do to install this, i have a zex wet kit, and any one in tampa know where i can have it installed for a reasonable price. thanks guys

THEY MAY HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT USING A dry system which relies on increased fuel pressure tohrough the stock injectors.
Wet is the easiest way to go on these cars. Get the NX universal wet kit. It has the best solenoids!
Do the install yourself. It is really easy!!

Where did they tap the fuel from?
A 45 shot isn't much. That shouldn't be any kind of strain on your pump, especially since a wet kit doen't increaswe your fuel pressure.

Hmm... damn, that means we've been giving instals practically for free.
I've been running a 125shot for over 2yrs without changing my fuel pump. Now the only time you're going to need to change the pump is after you touch your cams. But as long as you're on stock internals, including the cams, you'll be cool.
If you remember, the Z automatically "richens" the fuel at higher RPM's, hence the reason TechnoSquare and other reflashes lean out the Z to make more power. A wet system will make your Z run trully rich... not, lean

So let me ask you, how did you guys come to the conclusion that you can't run more than a 45shot w/o running lean? Did they even dyno the car? Show you a a/f map or graph? Or was it just their word?
Let me say... I (we) have really no proof that its the fuel pump but the wet system just won't push enough fuel past a ~40 shot to keep the AF around 12.
