Nitrous installed...now the pics
okay, I just reset the TPS voltage, and at idle, I'm getting 2.4 - The service manual says it should be around 1.X ...I think I tapped into the wrong wire...I might go looking through the wires that come off of the TB (I know there's a few different threads about varrying wire colors and which one is the correct wire)
Rico, if you remember the wire color and or have a pic of it that you used, id't be greatly appreciated!
-Peter
btw: I've finished 95% of the install...just need to add the power relay to the solenoids and tap the intake to mount the nozzle - can't wait to star spraying!

subscribing to see the list of all parts, labor, and cost for rico's nitrous set up.. bump
It all sounds great as I'm a huge fan of nitrous. I am dropping off my car for a dual 5lb bottle set up with a 100 shot. I am doing mine for show so the bottles will be mounted in the backside of the trunk. The bottles are off to get color matched paint and special "Z" decals installed. I should have it all completed and installed by the middle of next week. I will definately post pics once completed.
Your car looks great, good work!

it is from crawford. not a stocked item there so you have to call and order it. you cant even buy it on their site. so just give them a call and they will help you out, great people. it is really the only option i have seen for that area and i looked for weeks.

no i never got around to it. i ended up starting my own business and have been traveling and working a ton. i will try to get something together for those interested.
This may be a stupid question...but would the TPS cut the nitrous off completely and immediately, if for some reason you needed to stop quickly and/or shifted into neutral, or would it blow the engine?
rico, regarding your other post:
Is that backwards? 248 whp and 262 wtq? Seem backwards for a V6?? I got 249 whp and less torque and all I have is Headers/Catback.
NA - 248 rwhp and 262 rwtq
Spray - 341 rwhp and 359 rwtq

Yes it does - I had the same unit and it worked flawlessly.

How is it backwards? I have minors mods, but pretty much the same as you. I dont have headers either, which is my bottle neck. The only real power adders for NA that I have are test pipes, catback, intake, plenum spacer. The rest is minimal. Your headers prob account for just as much power as my other mods.
