Default N20 on 91 octane gas + plugs question

Greetings: Im thinking of saving for nitrous kit and i read somewhere that you should run higher octane gas along with colder plugs with the kit.

Anyone from Cali (where 91 octane rules) use NOS? How do they get higher octane? Do you use an gas additive and mix it with 91?

How offten do you have to change your colder plugs?

Thanks!

91 octane is fine. I would throw in some octane boost (NX boost is great!) if you run 125 shot or higher. We have 93 octane here and most ppl don't put in racing gas or octane boost unless they plan on making quite a few passes at the track or are running a high shot (i.e. 150 shot).

I never had to change the colder plugs I swapped out for stock. I'd check them about once a month in the civic. Never fouled or anything. Not saying it wouldn't happen cuz it does, but the Z is a pain to check plugs vs. a civic.
