I use a Nitrous express maximizer 4,
Nos is set to start at 3750 room and shut of at 6950 rpm,
Then I bring the Nos in with about 30% and ramp it up as it increases in rpm.
That way it's progressive, also set it to chase a specific wide band so set that to 11.5 and let it chase the afr.
Place emphasis on safety and enjoy it, personally bringing gas in so low is just adding so much strain on your motor.
You want the gas coming in closest to the torque peak as possible

ok so because I know that my kit have a WOT but is that also function as a window switch that only engage at 2500rpm and shut of before limiter?
or do I have to buy a window switch itself??

Buy a proper controller and stop messing around, 2500 rpm is literally looking for ****..

there should be plenty of 350z specific kits available today. its a simple install, just make sure whatever kit you have comes with the fuel tap. AAM makes their own but im sure there are clones/alternatives by now.

Default Nitro 350z

So I want to know what nitrous kit i should get. I definitely want a wet system but which is best for the 350z? its a 2003 and im currently working on the engine. The max shot i"d use would be 200 (i'd probably just have a 100 in there most of the time), would getting better connecting rods be enough for the engine to keep it safe? any help would be great

Brands are mostly a matter of preference. Read through this thread if you haven't already.

Default Can someone please explain nitrous jetting for hr engine

I have a nitrous express kit and I have a 75 shot ( 41/22 ) in each intake but the installer said it still would only equal a 75 but now people are saying I have been running a 150 this whole time my car has been untuned on the 75 shot for about 2 or 3 months and I have went through at least 10 bottles so my question is have I been running a 150 shot untuned this whole time?

Contact NX themselves and ask, to be certain. You can measure the mass flow rate of nitrous and calculate the horsepower gains from there with your AFR and an assumed combustion efficiency. We do this with our race car:

yes... with that jetting you have been running around on 150hp shot untuned. that is correct. id pull your plugs and look for little speckles of aluminum embedded in the plug (caused by detonation).

Default Holley brand NOS system

I have a NOS kit from Holley for my car,
Called them and they said for a 100shot to run
Nitrous - 51, fuel - 34
And for 125 shot
Nitrous - 65, fuel - 38

Does this sound correct to anyone?
Just wanted some insight on this

Thanks

I strongly suggest that you start with the recommended size and monitor the AFR (via gauge or dyno) to fine tune it. Don't just put in the jets they tell you to without checking the AFR.

So what would the recommended sizes be for a 100 shot? because those are the sizes Holley gave me.

He is saying run what holly says to run but ensure you use a afr guage to monitor it. All cars run diff so you may have to add or pull fuel.

Uprev can have multiple maps, one for your N/A tune, and another for your nitrous tune, where timing is not as aggressive.

So I'm looking at buying this
https://www.amazon.com/Nitrous-Expre...ds=nitrous+kit

And buying the obvious things like pressure gauge, etc.. Or

https://www.amazon.com/Nitrous-82220...0z+nitrous+kit

Which is made specifically for the 350z, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra $200 for what it's offering. Any input into the two, and what more I'll need to buy with either recommended kit?
