Bottle heater questions
Where is a good place to get a bottle heater for a NX wet kit?
How much do these usually cost?
I've seen several styles of heaters out there but not so sure which is the best for the NX kit.
Thanks!

I bought the GENX 2 kit which included the heater.
I bought my NX stuff from Extreme Motorsports in Odenton. They are an Evo shop, but they are an NX dealer. Check with them. My quick review of NX's website came up empty in terms of buying just the bottle heater.

I have the NX heater. It was part of my GenX2 kit. If I were to buy one separately,m I would get the one from www.dynotunenitrous.com It is a 300Watt unit compared to the 240 watt that NX has. Faster heating up!!!!
you have a pressure sensor that t's into the nitrous line or the bottle bottle valve (depends on the manufacturer of the valve/siphon tube.)
some of the older setup like NOS has uses a temp sensor that sandwiches between the heater and the bottle.
Personally, I just got rid of the pressure controlled device. Run a nitrous pressure gauge into the cockpit and monitor it. Turn on the heater when you need it. Turn it off when you don't.
On mY explorer, I hooked up the bottle heater to my rear defroster switch. On most vehicles, the rear defroster switch is a timed switch. they automatically turn off after a few minutes. It was cool; I never had to worry about forgetting that I left the heater on.
On my G, I couldn't do, that's why I ran a pressure gauge in the car.

the new NX bottle heaters are automatic, they have a pressure sensor that ties in to the line right by the bottle. they turn on at 850 and turn off at 1050. they take all the guess work out of it.
pm me if you would like to know a great place to find one....
