Default ECU control fuel for nitrous addition?

Can an aftermarket ECU product, like a UTEC, be used to control fuel through the OEM injectors to work with the NO2 added? Could the new Cobb tuner be used to do that? It seems like that would simplify the installation greatly since no changes to the fuel system would be needed. Wouldn't the WB O2 feedback on 2005+ tell the OEM ECU it's running very lean and to add fuel, or would that take too long (kaboom)?

The utec is the way to go. I just installed an NS system last night and already had the utec with W/B tuner. We used my N/A map and took some timing out and gave it more fuel. Then we did a data log with the NO2 map without spraying to see what the A/F ratio was. It was a bit rich so we knew it was OK to spray. Then we did a data log with the spray and noticed the A/F was still a little on the rich side. If your worried about detonation then you have to get the utec. The fact that the utec acts as a WOT and RPM switch makes Nitrous a breeze to use. You don't have to get the W/B tuner but then you would need to get on a dyno, which I'll be doing anyway.

Then you only piped NO2 to the intake and didn't touch the fuel lines? It sounds like you only fine tuned using the UTEC. Please clarify. By the way, what type and brand system did you install?
