Default Nitrous Jets/Fuel pressure help

OK, some of you know I'm using the NS (Nitrous Supply) kit. Ran a 12.5 on 125 shot with open differential and low bottle pressure.

Well, I'm racing my buddies EVO IX MR with 24 lbs. of boost at the track and looking to fine tune before then.

My problem is NS supplies jets for 43 PSI fuel pressure. I called them and they said to find out what the fuel pressure on the Z is and they'll send me fuel jets that will work. They said I should buy jets +/- from the "target" jet they're sending me. They can't guarantee the jet they choose for me will have my A/F spot on so I guess thats why they recommended buying the others also.

Am I correct with saying the Z's around 50 PSI?

I was just running really rich with the ones they supplied with the kit so I know I was losing HP. We did the best we could pulling fuel out with the utec but I should be timing with the utec and tuning A/F with the jets.

What we did is made a map with -2 degree timing from TDC but when I logged the runs it said it was pulling -3 to -5 degrees. We really weren't sure why it was doing this because it wasn't detecting knock. Maybe something was making it over compensate.

Just trying to get the most out of it and be safe at the same time

the fuel pressure is 50 or 51psi. I'd buy an NX nozzle and some of their jets....Never had a problem thus far.

The jets look standard. They're gold with stamped #'s on them. I'm tuning for 100 shot on 93 and 150 shot on race fuel. So when I get this done it'll be interesting if our jet sizes are the same. What are you running?

there are really only two types of jets, NOS and NX, nytrex and zex use the same style as NX does. so do some of the other companies...

Well, the jets are the same as NOS. So for the 100 shot I used 46n/33f and for the 150 shot 61n/38f. They definitely rate it at CHP!

Dyno'd on an in-ground mustang and off memeory...
N/A was 254hp, i forgot the tq #'s
100 shot was 31X hp/ 35X tq
150 shot on 110 octane was 35X hp/ 417 tq.
Sorry I can't verify this but didn't feel like bugging Sam at Coastal for print outs because he only charged $60 for about an hour and 1/2 of dyno time and was very busy. Plus, the only thing that matters is 1/4 mile times!

Yeah, I run there. Last time I ran there it was the Tampa Racing event.

I'm going back late Feb. on a Saturday T&T to race my buddy's Evo IX MR.

I'm going Feb.23rd. Its the last T&T that month. You should hold out until then.

I get it filled at United Speed World on Florida Ave. between Fletcher and Bearss. Its $3 per lbs. and they freeze the bottle before filling. I also grab some 110 octane while I'm there.
