YES! Test the fuel with the nitrous off, the car should bog hard. They try it with the nitrous. Dont start at 100hp, start at 50hp, check your plugs, work your way up. Nitrous dosent kill motors, people do!

i dont see why only a 150 shot? why not a nice big fat 250 shot with a built motor? seems like an overkill to have a built motor and running a baby shot. unless your planning on turbo in da future?

I would not consider a 150shot a "baby" shot by any means. If this car is tuned correctly, which Im sure Jeremy will do quite well, then this car should be pretty fast. Mid-high 11's shouldnt be a problem if he can get good traction, and launch well. I dont really think that is all that bad for a "baby" shot!

What kind of kit was it? How old were the solenoids?
my friend had a z with nitrous, not on the forum though, and he blew up too. got me nervous about doing it as well.

Please don't think what happened to my car will happen to every nitrous car (but it can) . My car was/is drove VERY hard and there was alot of things I did not do right.

we are still debating on doing a bigger shot, the motor will hold it all day.

BUT once you cross 150 shot, you need to go direct port which adds a whole other cost to the build. we will have some stuff in the near future but just want to get the car up and broke in and running 150 shot safely so he can beat up on the car.

traction becomes a major issue with even a 150 shot on the street.

we need to work on a progressive controller with 250-300 shot. all that adds up to a lot of money though and wont make this budget but will be done very soon.

thanks guys!!

Ya, I really think a 150 shot will be more then enough fun for the street. And like Jermey said, that is going to be a handful enough trying to put down. I didnt realize the biggest shot you can do with a wet fogger is 150. Direct port certainly costs just a few more dollars.
