I am not sure about what brand bottle warmer but to answer your question a few posts above about how it works. My NX one basically I flip the switch to turn it on, and it's starts warming to a pre-set "pressure". Once it hits that pressure, the Bottle warmer turns off. When it dips say from a spray, the transducer kicks the warmer back on until it hits the pressure again. It's very fast and very safe.

BUT if you plan on running this at a track, you will probably need a blow down tube. Most Drag strips that have NHRA rules require it. If you plan on using it street only then your ok.

This is where I pieced my kit together and the brand bottle warmer I bought. Scroll down to the high output warmer in black. This heats extremely fast and comes with the adjustable pressure switch so if you forget to turn it off it won't build pressure past your target PSI. I'd get the electronic nitrous pressure gauge to monitor this because I believe they're more accurate.

Bottle pressure is extremely important! Today I raced a Greddy TT G35 @ 6.5psi. I was running a 100shot that puts down 350lbs. trq. and pulled him a bit when the bottle pressure was around 900psi. We did about three third gear punches and he finally started to pull because my pressure dropped to 750. It makes a big difference!

This is my kit!

The utec is the thing that separates nitrous setups! Its full proof! The post earlier was talking about the rev-limiter. With the utec, I tells the nitrous to start at 4000 rpm's and shut off at 6500. If I mis-shift, I wont have to worry! Plus, with the ability to take out timing, you can run bigger jets with a more conservative tune for better safety. I have a map for 417lbs. trq. on 110 octane with about -4 degrees taken out.

Crazy? I run a 125 shot (with bottle warmers), plus all the mods in my list which puts me at 391hp 418TQ and my buddy has a twin turbo 03 350 (stock internals at 8psi) and I walk him every time... Just have to make sure my bottle pressure is over 950... Any less than that, I dont even run... I agree with getting the dynotune bottle warmers... They work the best and heat up the bottle from 700 PSi (on a 60 degree day) to 1100 in about 15 minutes... Just keep the warmer on while your spraying so by the time your going to run again, the botte is ready... Good luck

^ Yeah, I ran the G35 with about 900psi bottle pressure but my tune is setup for 1025psi. I just left the house so it didn't have time to warm up as much. I pull my buddy's evo ix running 24lbs. of boost with the 150 shot and 110 octane.

Bottle pressure is KEY... I run about 950-1000 psi with a 75 shot and It puts it down. I have a UTEC but I'm in an area where a Tuner is hard to come by without driving 200 miles or better... As soon as I get some free time this baby is going in for a tune for 125 shot.

One350zfan... Nice Setup.

so what's the outcome on this? I am having the same issues. I can feel it a little bit. I used to run an sr20 with a direct port 80shot and is felt like a beast and my Z does not. I just ordered a bottle heater from dynotune as well and I was just wondering if you got it all set up.

I was in the 700-750 range. One day when it was hot out I ran the heater full blast and I got the psi up to 850 and I could feel it just a little disappointing, you know? I just got my warmer too so mine should be installed this week. Good luck on your kit.

i did a 12.8 quarter with nothing but a 75 shot. you will feel that without a doubt. a bottle warmer is a must. its dangerous sparying at low pressure anyway. you dont want to backfire.

Good idea to spend a momemt reverse calculating torque gain.........a 75HP jet is ~~65 lb/ft at 6,000 rpm and 130 lb/ft at 3,000rpm and midways 97 lb/ft at 4500 so ~~ 0.8 sec quarter improvement if applied thru gears if fuel and ignition are optimized.

I know you bought a bottle heater and all, but why not just refill the bottle in the mean time to see the difference?

I have a Zex heater , but I believe the NX heater is better because it is works according to bottle pressure, whereas the Zex heater works according to outside bottle temps.....

on topic....

These numbers posted REALLY make me regret selling my set-up. Never even installed it. But, I need the cash for another project and I had the kit for like 3 years and never installed it, so.... My Z is hibernating in a month anyway. Spring can't come soon enough...
