put mine between the seats and rear strut brace....cut a gym bag out at the bottom and slipped it over the bottle. Even when I told ppl I have spray...they could never find the bottle....first placed they looked was the spare tire area.

remove everything from the glove compartment area and put it in there. Takes a little work, but it will fit. Get an electronic opener and you are set.

Put it here and gym bag it! If you'll be filling it often then place it where you can remove it easily. Well, unless you like making **** hard for yourself!

You can turn it sideways, but you won't get as many good sprays from it because the tube will suck air when it gets too low.

Not really! When you mount it sideways, you have to rotate the bottle 45 degrees. The supply tube(inside the bottle) is angled so when you do this it will pick up NO2 under acceleration.

I'm not saying its bad, sideways works fine. Mine is sideways in my Z, but it will not be as efficient as front to back.

I've been drag racing yearly since 1989 (yes, I'm an old guy), even helped pit for a top fuel funny car one year because my engine builder (and my friend) was the engine builder for it.

A few years ago we tested a bottle both direction (they were building an 8-second 1969 Opel GT with limited space and we were curios). We ran one crosswise when we were down to the final lbs. The nitrous feed became intermittent (sucking air) and the engine began jerking and he shut it down. We warmed the bottle again, turned it lengthwise and made one more pass. The nitrous ran strong almost the entire length of the track until the end when the nitrous was about gone.

It's not much of a loss, but it could make a difference at some point. (whatever that may be)

Sideways is fine for the street and smaller shots.

i tried that 1st, and it sucked trying to mount it. i think removing the bottle to fill it would suck 2, but that may just be because of my seats. they dont slide as far forward as stock. best place to do it but it def takes a little work.

If you have any amps or anything audio/ video wise in the car you can take the same approach I did. See pics, click below for morewere to put bottle?(nitrous)-s6300078.jpg
