nitrous and warrenties

soooo as i just read in one of the threads the stearship can swab for nitrous...does the residue stay for ever?? or does it get warn/washed out after a few miles of driving?? i have a warrentee and would like to know how if n e thing goes wrong i can stilll get it fixed. thanks!

It burns off in time.
I read that it is the sulfur they add to the nitrous that leaves the residue. But if you blow the motor while spraying, or soon after, they will find it by swabbing the cylinder walls.
