MSD and Dynotune window switches seem to be very popular.

The MSD and the Dynotune ones can replace the ZEX box altogether. But, if I remember correctly, the ZEX box also houses the solenoids. I had a friend who installed the MSD unit and his ZEX brain together, so it should work. Same with the Dynotune (as its the same as MSD with a different brand name on it).

It shouldn't be too hard if you know anything about wiring.

If that's what I'm thinking.. then you only need 1.

I'm guessing you only have 1 set of solenoids (1 fuel, 1 nitrous), which means that you can only utilize 1 channel anyway. If you have a second set of solenoids, then you can use the 2nd channel to use that second set of solenoids for a bigger shot.

You can spray a 50 shot from 3-6k, then spray another 50 shot from 4-6k. Remember that with nitrous it's not just simple math. That is 50 shot + 50 shot isn't 100. You have to calculate the diameter of the jet sizes and blah blah to actually get the real number, so I don't suggest you do this. Simple math, I'd assume, but more trouble than it's worth.

Personally I like the Zex RPM window switch, it is supposed to work well with the Zex "brain". We'll see though, just ordered it today.

There's no such thing as which one works better. As long as they're set up correctly, they should all work the same. They all have the same general idea/principle behind it anyway. So, to argue this one works better is just plain stupid and uneducated.

The difference you may see is just a software thing, not a hardware thing. So personal preference could play a part there, but again, why spend the extra dough on things that does essentially the same thing as the cheaper one? To look pretty?

Do some research on these things and you'll learn a lot more than just asking for quick answers here. Plus, once you learn things on your own, you can help other noobs.

I don't know. What do you know/think?

Personally, I think the Dynotune has the best price for its features and will do the job perfectly well.

The MSD has the name value, so it's a bit more pricey, but does the same thing as the Dynotune one essentially.

I'm not sure about the ZEX one, but I'm guessing that the name will bring up the price a little for what it does while doing the same thing the others can do.

Then there's the NX one, which is just crazy. It has all the bells and whistles, but all that comes with the heavy price. It sure looks pretty, though.

P.S. - There's at least 1 guy for each of the above companies on our boards. So, regardless of what you choose, you should be able to get help, if necessary, with troubleshooting while installing the said item. Well, except for the NX one, but that's only because it's too damn expensive.

zex is the sameas Dynotune. The box looks exactly the same and the instructions program the same way as the Dynotune. The instructions are a little better than Dynotune but essentially the same.
