Retard timing 1.5 - 2 degrees per 50 hp shot. What size were you running on stock timing and what are you upping the shot to??

I will need to retard my timing as well soon. How hard is it to do yourself on a UTEC? Would it be as simple as loading a map for similar mods? I'm just not comfortable having any of the shops in AZ tune for my nitrous.

Check out Uprev's Osiris. Seems to be quality and working well.

All the UTEC does is apply the ground to the solenoid when certain user determined values are met. It will work with anything that needs a ground.

I would rather control my nitrous with the dedicated Zex window switch and TPS, but I can also run the UTEC to retard timing and correct A/F, correct? No conflicts sense they are running separate, right?

That would be like having an N/A map, except with timing pulled. You'll just be spraying in that map.

the beauty of the UTEC option is that you dont have to run a sluggish NA map all the rest of the time (that you're not spraying). Also it's an additional insurance policy when you use the UTEC as your window switch, without having your nitrous map loaded the nitrous can't fire no matter what. A valet or any other driver wouldn't have the ability to fire nitrous due to the Utec having a different map loaded.
