Now... Info leaked that this car was running 150shot NOS and the driver swears up and down he didn't.

Street racing is one thing, but doing it when the car is less then half a mile away from you?

 

Street Racing = especially when Speed World drag strip is right there in Orlando. Unfortunately highway racing is very big in Orlando...I've often wondered what I would do if I had my family in my car and a couple a**holes went by me street racing. If you want to risk your own life thats fine, but not someone elses....I thought maybe examples like Hogan and LakelandKev would discourage this foolishness..Life is precious,especially when you have little ones at home(hint-hint)

 

I agree. Street racing is just dumb. Now to answer your question, the black smoke could be a number of things, not just nitrous.

 

eh race when you have enough room on the streets, you should have uped the boost, also why didnt you brake boost?

 

I don't think that is nitrous. When I had my Z06 it puked out black smoke anytime I floored it. Besides, I thought when a car sprayed that the exhaust color was white.

BTW, just because he had black sooty exhaust fumes coming out, it doesn't mean he had nitrous. If he did in fact have nitrous and was spraying a 150 shot, you'd hear the difference from his regular WOT sound. In addition, he would've pulled on you pretty hard from the get go or lose traction.
