Default Help Programing Dynotune Window Switch

hey guys, i need help on exactly programing my window switch. i see the steps and idk what they mean and how they are suppose to be set too.

im hoping when i program the window switch, it will control the WOT setting because once again my zex brain doesnt want to program correctly.

here is a drawing on paint of how my wires are done, just to make sure its correct....sorry for the shitty job but it shows the basic...and all wires are soldered correctly.

please someone help me

4: 06.0 (depends on when you want to stop spraying)
5: 00.0 (depends on if you have a second set of solenoids)
6: 00.0 (depends on if you have a second set of solenoids)
7: 002
8: 04.7 (depends on what your actual WOT voltage is)

How's that?

Don't know if you have the install instructions for the zex:
http://zex.com/Base/Instructions/ZEX184.pdf

I went straight with just dynotune stuff, adding more things and different companies starts getting complicated. Good luck on your install.

They are great guys at dynotune, always willing to help, give them a call if you get stuck.

ok well first id like to say that Dan at DynoTunes tech support is amazing, very friendly and great help. he was always willing to give that extra help to satisfy the customer.

well according to Dan, im set other than something with my throttle position. my voltage reads zero after we tried learning the window switch. i know i have the correct wire, at least im sure it is...but the way we tried learning it was driving around the block. i did a first and second WOT pass for like 5 seconds, but i dont think thats correct.

i was wondering should i do it the regular way where i flip the butteryfly myself?
anyone ever experience this?

Thanks
Dan

Where/how did you tap for the throttle body voltage?

BTW, I program my Dynotune window switch in neutral. I just WOT it for less than a second and it picks up the max voltage it read.

i tapped into the throttle wire with a splice terminal, which ive seen other people on the forums use and worked fine.

i think my only problem was that i didnt properly do the WOT learning process, and i will try to check it tomorrow morning and try it, but worse case is something is incorrect.

Thanks
Dan

What color was the TB wire (I believe it's supposed to be green)? I've posted pics of how mine was tapped, so search for my post.

Also, did you follow my steps that 3kgtslflip copied over from the stickied thread to here when programming the window switch?

yes the wire i tapped was the green wire, and i had Dan from DynoTune help me step by step on the programming instructions....so now the only problem i can think now is it didnt read the voltage correctly...so maybe i should just program it like you do or do the butterfly flap manually?

There's no need to drive around, when revving in neutral for a split second would be the same thing. And there's there's no need to manually force the TB open when you can accomplish the task by what I just said.

However, all 3 methods should technically accomplish the same exact thing without problems.
