Default Hidden Nitrous

Well Im about to get a ZEX kit shortly and I really want to hide the kit. Well the one thing that give hidden kits away is where the nitrous jet is install. So I was thinking, what if i get a throttle body spacer and tape the jet into the bottom of the spacer to hide it. Well my only concern is that being so close to the plenum would it cause the nitrous more of the nitrous to the closer cyls that are near the tb? I know I have seen ppl use this idea for meth injection but the system is pressurized. What are your opinions on this?

I'm about to post a thread tomorrow showing my kit. I've been lagging on these pics for a while, and everything is fairly hidden. Keep an eye out for my thread.

Did you do the thing with the throttle body spacer like I am talking about?

No I mounted it under the intake pipe. It's pretty stealth, you'd have to be looking for it to find it. The only thing that would worry me with a throttle body spacer setup is the fact that you'd be spraying close to the bend on the intake manifold.

^^ about 6 inches (I believe) from the TB and on the bottom. Just cover it up with wire loom or something like that.

Just think about it: the nitrous is at ~1000psi so when it's released, it'll shoot pretty much straight. The TB spacer doesn't allow enough room for the nitrous/fuel mixture to mix with the air and will probably end up on the plenum neck wall.

You could argue and say you'd point the nozzle so it clears the plenum wall, but then you run into the problem of spraying into the passenger bank more.

In short, stick to tapping the intake tube to mount your nozzle, imho.

BTW, this has been discussed a few times in other threads.
