Where do I install the Nitrous Nozzle?
Hi everyone, looking for some help with my nitrous express wet kit. I've looked through a ton of threads and can't find my answer, so I had to make a new post.
I am trying to install the nitrous express piranha nozzle on my air intake tube. Problem is that I don't know where I am supposed to put it. There is a PCV hose connected under the air intake.
Do I put the nozzle in between the PCV hose and throttle body? Or do I put the nozzle in between the MAF sensor and PCV hose?
The instructions say to put the nozzle 2-6 inches from the throttle body.
Also my second question is how do I install the nitrous nozzle in my aluminum air intake pipe (Nismo R-tune CAI)? There has to be a better way then just drilling a hole and shoving it in there, if I did that over time it would turn slightly as the engine shakes and then the nozzle wouldn't be facing towards the throttle body.
Thank you for the help.
p.s.
if I didn't search prior threads thoroughly enough and this has already been answered, please post the link so I can read that thread. Thanks

u dont just drill it and throw it in there..has to be threaded in...i think with the questions i have read from u op u should seek professional help and pay the extra bucks to have it done correctly..
@ 2bad240, thank you, I will contact NX for the nozzle nut. For some reason that didn't come with my kit.
@ tylerxfire, I already have everything installed except the N20 and fuel lines to the nitrous nozzle because I didn't know how to properly install the nozzle into the air intake tube.

When you tell someone they "should seek professional help" that could easily be misconstrued to mean they need psychiatric evaluation and/or meds because they are a crazy person. Maybe that's what he thought you meant?

I called nitrous express and they told me that for my piranha nitrous nozzle there isn't a nozzle nut. They suggested to not tap into the aluminum intake tube, but to just tap into the plastic coupler right next to the throttle body. They said in this set up for a 350z it wouldn't matter if it's too close to the throttle body. The guy even went on to say that he's had people drill right into the throttle body and insert the nozzle there and spray right into the intake manifold with no problems.
Any thoughts on this?
@tylerxfire, I'm sure yours will be great

Okay, thanks for the help. I will order a nitrous nozzle nut from a different vendor, since NX told me they don't make one for my size nozzle. Then I will install it in the air intake tube.
Ive seen some use a throttle body spacer to tap their lines into. However, i think that most mfg. say to place nozzle like 6-8 inch away from the TB?.....
On another note....which angle should the nozzle be facing in the intake....directly at the throttle body? Was readin today bout some ppl having it pointing wrong way and that can cause pooling.....

I've used TB spacers on other apps and on my Z and they work great, have the added advantage of not having to drill into any part of the car. I'm using my stock intakes, so the spacers give me a place to put the nozzles that I wouldn't have otherwise.
