Default wet 150 shot, high rev, need 255 fuel pump?

i know some are successfully running 150 shots on here, but what about if i raise my rev limit a decent amount, should i get a walbro fuel pump for good measure? my heads are built for the revs and i just want to make sure i dont run out of fuel, no matter what fuel jets i have in, if that makes sense. and if i do get a fuel pump, what is all involved to make it work? do i need to modify the fpr or anything? or is it just a remove and replace sort of thing?

thanks

I wouldnt run a 150 shot if you dont already know the answers to these questions... Raising your rev limiter a "decent" amount wouldnt be that smart but you can always get a window switch, and you would most definitely want a fuel pump.

It would definitely be a good idea on 150shot to have upgraded fuel pump. The install is slightly more involved then a simple remove and replace, but is simple and straight forward. We have the pumps in stock, as well as gas tank o-ring which I would recommend having on hand and replacing if you are going in there.

I don't think an upgraded fuel pump is a necessity but I'd recommend it. With such a large shot, you'll lose fuel pressure at the onset of the spray and the upgrade should help.

I've been running a 150 shot on stock pump for a few years now.
One thing you should realize about nitrous is it creates the most HP at the lower RPM range. As the RPM's go up, the cylinder needs more fuel faster, but nitrous flow never increases with RPM's. The flow stays the same and the cylinders get less and less of it.
With our engine, you'd be better off shifting at 5,500 - 5,800 RPM's, otherwise you're just loosing HP and wasting nitrous.
