i got my zex nitrous kit installed in a shop they tune it and everything work good on dyno ... it did 356 whp on mustang dyno .... on 100 shot them i went fisrt time to the trap on street tires i didnt get traction on fisrt , second , third of four on street tires .... them i buy slicks i went to the track again and run the nitrous did not get activated i try like 3 times it didnt work ..... 5 min latter a lot of nitrous start to come out of my intakes .... i close the bottle ..... them i try to open the bottle again and the same thing all nitrous coming out of my intakes ... some poeple said is a bad silinoid ...... i dunno anything about it .... but how it is gonna be bad if my setup is new ive only use it 3 times .... someone helpppppppppppppppp plz.......

 

What do you need help with? they say bad solenoid.. so have your shop replace it. if that doesn't fix it, then take it off and enjoy the car as it were.

im in west palm beach florida .... and my selenoids are brand new wtf only use it for fisrt time and they are bad already no wayyyyy.......

it sucks the my selinoid went bad just before my fisrt bottle was used

 

I blew my valve covers, so be happy woth what ya got LOL

It doesn't matter how new your solenoid is. Or any part you buy, for that matter especially regarding electronics. I've have numerous bad parts straight out of the box.

 

bad solenoid...as said, doesnt matter if its new..ive gotten many faulty parts that are brand new..

 

Are you running a filter on the nitrous? there could have been trash in the line from install that was not purged out before hooking up. It can get lodged in the solenoid. Take the solenoid apart and clean it out then reinstall. Put a filter on it and purge the system before connecting to the solenoid. Also, solenoid need to be rebuilt/cleaned as routine maintenance.

 

that might be my problem cus when i disconect the nitrous fitting that goes into the intake there was a little piece of plastic in there and i was like wtf ...... so im gonna have to open the box and try to clean the nitrous silinoid.... i hope it solve my problem .... anyway i plan on buying the .....THE ADDS ON THAT ZEX HAS THAT ADD ONE STAGE TO THE NITROUS SYSTEM ... I BELIEVE IT COMES WITH 2 NEW SILINOIDS .... BUT FOR NOW IM JUST GONNA TRY TO CLEAN THE ONE I HAVE .... THANKS HELP IS APPRECIATED

 

For the love of Christ. If you can add 4 periods, you can capitalize and use a single period. Maybe even toss in a comma or two while you're at it!

 

Are you running the Zex kit with the box or individual solenoids?

 

im running the zex kit with the box .... only use it for second time and i already hate the box... im gonna hit the box with a hammer .....

 

Did you already hit your keyboard with one?

 

send the box back to zex and tell them to fix it
