I am new here so nice to meet you. I have read many of your old posts - so good info there.

I am DE stock block, single nozzle and run it with 100oct race gas on UPREV tune @950psi. I have pushed thru 4 bottles. In spring I intend to up to 57N jet to hit 125whp (shot). I will pull and read the plugs after running the 52N 100 shot this season, and will get a compression check before upping jets (and eventual re-tune).

From your experiences and others you may know, from a longevity standpoint, what is the top end WTQ ranges most folks are holding at to be "safe"? (as this is highly debated). I am looking for that number range where safe-reliable outweighs overall whp/wtq records. I believe it to be 400whp\400wtq (dyno dynamic)...but have others proved out more (or damaged on less) long term?

Also I have 5AT+TransGO+Cooler and I have read ur looking at strain & break around 380-420wtq. 6MT may go a lil' higher.

Any thoughts?

+1..I run the NOS Mini 2-Stage. Best damn thing I ever bought for $200. I ramp 100whp from 40-100% over a 3.0sec time span. No tire chirps and it is like being flug out like a slinghot gradually.

Many people seem to think there's some sort of a safety line when it comes to boost or juice. There definitely is a trend toward a general limit, but there is not a defined limit on how much power you can make before popping. Simply put, there are just too many factors that are in play.

Yep I think you hit it on the head. I did read a post a while back where folks were daisy-chaining their current running stats on stock and built motors turbo\SC over (x) time period, and whether they were running or popped. Problem with the post was that it was light in N2O members.

Generally seemd to pattern in that 390-420 ranges. Of course depends on car condition, mileage, safety measures in place, driver habits, etc.

Alot of variables and possible user errors with nitrous. There is a threshold for what I would and wouldn't do...but to each their own. You don't break down barriers by listening to what everyone else says.

I don't know how many ppl told me I was nuts for running 150 shot on a stock block (2005). I did it anyway. Even more ppl told me I was crazy for running 150 shot on top of boost. My response was usually BIYM. Car run perfect when I sold the Z 6 months ago...New owner still flogs it and loves the car. Owned her for 7 years...she was built and boosted and on nitrous longer than she wasn't. Think that car was stock for all of 3 days. LOL. Nitrous on it 3 weeks later. Boost on it a year later.
