the only shop closet to my house that use uprev want to charge me 200 just to put my car back to stock tune from the uprev tune i have before that was nitrous . anyone have a cable to do it for me .. im able to paid but the shop is charging me 200 seen ridiculous for just that .. im able to paid pm if you can do it

 

You need a Back to stock rom as far as I know. Who did you purchase from? Start there

 

thats weird. the shop that tunes zs near me actually gives you $100 back if you decide to go back to stock tune

 

i tune the car fisrt time in hp logic .. them i tune in Z FEVER in tampa .. but hp logic want 200 just to put it back to stock need something cheaper

Buy a used Cypher cable, get the stock ROM for your car (from Uprev ???), put the car back to stock yourself and save the license on the cable. Sell the cable and the license in the marketplace. Recoup your money.

 

You'll have to call the tuner who tuned it for a stock ROM. To my knowledge uprev will not provide one for you, Ive tried.

When I had my etune done by Vince at R/T I asked him to provide me one which he did. I fortunately paid for the full tuner package so I have a cable for my car

 

Where you provided a stock map from Vince as one of the 5 maps? I'm in a similar situation. I have to revert to stock, but want to Save my tune and install everything later.

 

Yes and no. I only had him do a daily driver map for my N/A bolt ons. But i asked for a stock ROM as well, so I have the stock tune sitting on my laptop but not loaded into the car.

In all honesty I dont know how to load more than 1 map on the car so that I can rotate between the 2!

I was given the files for both tunes so I saved them on my laptop for later use if I ever need them again
