has any one made 500 on nitrous yet?

Just looking to round out the Z. I have had low 9 "street" cars in the past. Really looking to pass 11.99 or better on the 19s with drag radials. A real street car.
It would be nice to make 500. It would be an easy 11.99. The wife could make that math work.
I have a 2jz on the engine stand. I think there is potential in this car and would rather hold off on it.

What year Z do you have? Budget?
If you want to be sub 11.99, you can do that on a single 150 shot.
Are you looking at any of the following as parts of your build, or are you just talking about plugging up a bottle to your stock Z:
plenum spacer or aftermarket plenum
exhaust
suspension
Nitrous safety features - lean cut, fuel pressure cut, progressive control
New clutch & flywheel
Smaller set of wheels for the drag radials
Revup oil pump if DE
Rod bolts, head bolts at a minimum
colder plugs
NANO + dyno tune
Quaiffe differential
4.08 gears
Nitrous Oxide Systems

good luck with 19's and traction we have a hard enough time with 18's and 17's your going to have to get absolute perfect wheel fitment and 28 inch tall tires, which the taller tires is going to slow acceleration.

Yeah, that jumped out at me too Jerry, that's why I wanted to get an idea of what he has in mind for his build. Makes a lot more sense to have dedicated drag wheels & tires on a 150 shot with some other "bolt on items" if he's purely interested in getting the sub 12 time on the cheap.
If he's also interested in the dyno numbers and wants 500 to the ground, that's going to take some building or some breaking, then building.
If this is a pipe dream about bragging rights/looking cool, we're just wasting our time, so I'm waiting to find out more about his goals, budget, and build plans.

I don't have the experience you guys have with this car clearly. So I will maybe track the car a hand full of times a year. I have only track time with v8 mostly turbo cars. Kinda want to do something different to me. I though an engine swap would have been the best plan but seems like a waste to only be able to do a stock engine swap. So the budget I have is 6k at the moment. I won't be going to slicks or a tire that could wrinkle so if it impossible to pass fast without a tall soft tire them imok with it. I haven't seen any products that allow for pinion adjustment or manipulation of instant center for the Z. I don't know as much as you guys and really looming to learn the car a bit more. I have an 03 m6 car with137k miles. Because the install of the 2jz I have is my whole budget I decided to freshen up the 3.5 the car has hks duals on the car.
So I figured pistons, rods, cams clutch and some items to complete the NX kit I won at a track event. Because I don't know the car is why I as if anyone made good no power. That's where my head is at right now. I change my mind a lot but this seems like a good fun street car. Thank you guys for the input.
BTW it was way more fun racing my mustang @ 10.80 .when I went low 9s it turned into work.

Nitrogen assisted Nitrous Oxide system. It keeps your nitrous at a constant pressure. Usually NO2 systems have to be heated to reach the correct pressure, the pressure drops throughout the pull/run, etc. What NANO does is act as a pressure regulator by using a second, extremely high pressure nitrogen bottle to keep your NO2 delivery consistent thoughout the entire run and always ready for use. You can also use every drop of your nitrous bottle instead of having to get it refilled once it is half full, etc.

4.08 gears with N2O with 11's in mind?? C'mon I expect better advice from a mod.
OP-the chances of 11's on 19" wheels even with radials is SLIM.
I've helped a friend with I/TP/E and an untuned 100 shot on slicks to a 12.0@113mph. If he had more drag experience that's 11's. For most on a DR and avg driving you will need 125-150 shot, colder plugs and a tire.
Don't get caught up on everything else when talking 1/4 times the driver will make the biggest difference.
