Default Upped my shot. Dyno post inside

So I was getting bored with the 150 shot I decided to up the shot size. I went from 6 .026 jets to 6 .028 jets That should be 180 shot. I was making on average 390-405 before. After a retune for the 06 intake cams and the 1/2 intake spacer under my kinetix, I'm now making on average 455-460 on average

Tried making a few passes at the track but my slicks are shot I'm probably pushing 100passes and 2 years on them

Impressive numbers. What fuel pills you using? Are you progressively controlling the single hit...or dual stage on your dp setup? I ask cuz I'm surprised the stock block is taking the wtq your putting out.

No fuel jets. It's a dry direct port and all the fuel is being added with the injectors. No progressive controller or any safety switches. Just a wot switch under the dash.

Well I bet that is one hell of a pony kick in the **** coming all in at 3600-4200rpm. I have been seriously thinking a wet dp using that same kinitex mani droppn in nitrous bungs at bottom of the runners and 3an braid to a distribution block or something. Problem is I think fuel pills would be
damn small, like. 016 or. 018. How small can one go without clogging risks? If you know or have seen others.

Awesome numbers. Glad to see you still messing around with nitrous.

I don't think you would have clogging issues. But I love my direct port setup. It's actually a smooth transition but it does pull when it comes in

Someone has to do it just trying to push the vq and see what it can do. Not being greedy but i would love to see 500 eventually stock longblock with more mods and tuning. i gained 60whp from 30hp worth of jetting after tuning and the cam timing adjustment

I plan on cutting the collectors off my longtubes soon and getting a nice set of collectors from burns stainless and welding them on to try and gain a few hp

I have a real good feeling about it. i tried running it friday night after the tuning session but my slicks are worn out i have had them two years and about 100 passes on them and i ran a 11.45@120 but with a 1.74 60' which is a terrible 60' for my car i figure i lost atleast a mph or 2 from the spinning

So i figure if i get a new set of slicks and get the 60' back in the 1.54-1.61 range i should be close to 10s

I figured you were looking for that 10.99 stock block.

Very impressive. You really should re do your build thread. I don't think any one here has come close to you ET with such little investment.

Went to a local dyno night with goal of breaking 500hp lastnight. Had the pressure turned up and it was low 60s out. The shop has 2 dynos, I was on the first one around 9pm. It literally just spun and only made 300. But they had issues getting my car strapped tight on that dyno.

so I waited and got on the other dyno at 1am. Had the pressure at 1200 and the car was real cool. Nitrous came on strong and the car was literally smoking the tires on the dyno. It shredded my radials and shot rubber all around the dyno room.

So maybe next time. But I will hit 500

Think 50hp on bottle pressure and cool air alone?

Nah not yet. Probably will soon. Want to change a few things first to get more power. Ordered merge collectors for my headers and changing the deliver system for my nitrous

Dude your $h1t is the only interesting thing going in this section. Keep it up man. Your results are really challenging the common power holding beliefs of the stock non-rev DE.

500whp/470+wtq would pretty damn amazing.

Very soon it's gonna happen. After multipul dyno sessions recently and a few test and things I have tried I have high hopes. I'm hoping to be closer to 300 all motor and to be over 500 on nitrous. The all motor I believe is gonna be tough and lots of work. But I don't see the nitrous being a issue if everything works as expected. Hopefully if everything goes as planned I can be on the dyno this weekend or next.

I'm sure you're aware, but a 200whp gain on juice will amount to almost a 250 shot

Sick, sick power. I hope it holds together, that's a lot to whack through a stock bottom end.

How many passes are you getting from a bottle? Running a single 10lb or more?
