Question What plugs to run?

Hey i'm a newbee to this stuff so if someone could help me that would be awesome. I'm gonna be running a NX wet kit. What plugs should i run? I have to switch over to non-platinum right? Anyone have a brand/part number/store where i can get some. Thanks Alot!!

Denso Iridium, I would do 2 steps colder to be safe.

Sorry, they are the Denso Iridium IKH22 plugs and are pre-gapped. I could not be happier with mine.

I got mine from Autozone, they are non platinum and just ask for 6 Denso Iridium IKH22. They are the best you can buy for you car

Yes, they are 2 steps colder. I will be using a large shot every once in a while and I wanted the added safety, I would reccomend those.

unless your going to go over a 100 shot, 1 step colder is more then enough. then again, its a bit of a pain to swap out those plugs. just stick to 2 step colder in case you ever decide to up the shot to something over 100.

has anyone just switched there plugs that doesnt have nitrous. I want to change the plugs in my car but not sure if it is worth it. Any performance gain in it?

If your spraying 75 shot should you retard your timming??? if so how do you do that?

Hey Guys, just picked up my Denso Iridium IKH22's. My local AutoZone special ordered them for me yesterday. Picked the up today on lunch. They look puurtty LOL. They better look nice for 80 bucks LOL. Ahh well, 1 more question, do i have to gap them? If so can someone please tell me how much they should be gapped. Thanks to everyone thats responded to my post!!! Almost time to hit the switch.

I need a NEW model number for a good NGK plug that is 1 step colder or maybe 2. The number I have does not compu with the dealers IFR6A-11 I need a new number please

Jake - Here's what Stillen is marketing as a one step colder plug ( for use with their S/C ). The part number is: NGK7654
The Stillen # is PLFR6A-11. Hope this helps.

yeah definitely iridium, they are VERy hard to blow out the spark compard to Copper. Especially if you gap them smaller. I gapped my NGK iridiums down to .034 just to be safe.

1 backfire due to the spark being blown out can really mess your engine up with a wet kit. I'd rather be safe than sorry and gap them a bit smaller.

Also NEVER use platinum. They get too hot and cause preignition, or melt the tips off etc.
